WEATHER SUMMARY:
Yesterday's passing cold front will leave us a bit seasonably cool the next few days; nevertheless, we'll still be near 70 in the afternoons. High pressure will build across the eastern US, allowing for sunshine to dominate the Triad Thursday. Highs will be in the comfortable lower 70s for the afternoon. Friday will be similar, though highs may struggle a bit in the upper 60s due to more cloud coverage as a warm front extends north. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
This weekend will also feature plenty of sunshine as well as warmer temperature. An upper-level ridge paired with high pressure ushering in southerly winds will guide temperatures higher by Sunday in the deep 70s. Early next week will likely feature even warmer highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. Our next shower chance likely won't arrive until next Tuesday.
The normal low is 51, and the normal high is 74.
