260 days and counting (as of Sunday).....

We haven't reached 90° at Piedmont-Triad International Airport since September 24, 2016.

That streak is in jeopardy. We will start the week in a summer like weather pattern that will bring heat and humidity to the Piedmont. This weather pattern will also allow for a very isolated sprinkle or two to pop up during the afternoon hours, but the vast majority of the area will stay completely dry early this week. With high pressure overhead Monday, we'll see mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.

The area of high pressure will remain fairly strong over us through midweek, so highs Tuesday and Wednesday will remain in the upper 80s to low 90s. The weather pattern will start to change late in the week leading to a better chance of rain and lower temperatures.
