GREENSBORO, N.C. --- Chilly air streaming in behind a weekend cold front will lead to below average temperatures to start the week. A light freeze is likely for a good chunk of the viewing area early Monday morning. Temperatures will warm through the day, under sunny skies, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

If you're headed out on Halloween Night, the weather looks pretty good for trick-or-treating. We're not expecting any rain, but it will be a bit on the cool side with temperatures in the 50s during the evening hours.

As high pressure takes over during the second half of the week, temperatures will continue to rise. We'll have highs in upper 60s/low 70s on Thursday, and low to mid 70s are expected on Friday with a rain chance.
