GREENSBORO, N.C. --
Will we make it to 90° for the first time this year? That's the big weather question this week.
It has been over 230 days since the last time we hit 90° in the Triad. We made it to 92° on September 24, 2016.
The next few days have the potential to be the hottest days of the year so far. Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s are likely just about everywhere. We probably won't break any records, but it'll be hot nonetheless.
Here's what we're expecting for Wednesday & Thursday:
Temperatures will begin to trend down this weekend with highs in the 70s and 80s.
