Lewisville Halloween Drive-Thru Honors Late Bowman Gray Driver

Halloween Suicide Awareness

A Lewisville family has a special tradition every Halloween.

The Pegrams turn their driveway into a 'spooktacular' drive-thru for all the trick-or-treaters!

They've been doing this for five years, but this year's drive-thru took on a different meaning.

The Pegrams collected donations for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

It was in honor of KJ Stimpson, a Bowman Gray driver who took his own life this past summer. He was 26 years old.

The Pegrams have been longtime friends with KJ's family, and wanted to do something to honor KJ's memory.

This Halloween, over 160 cars drove through the haunted trail, and they raised over $500.

If you or someone you know needs help, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
