Golf Tournament To Help Local Boys And Girls Club

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- You can take some time off work and hit the links this week for a good cause.

High Point Bank is hosting its 26th annual Betty Lynn McInnis Memorial Golf Tournament Thursday at Willow Creek Golf Course.

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser will go toward helping the more than 1,300 children who benefit from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater High Point.

Last year's event raised more than $32,000 to help local children.

If you want to play a few holes of golf, all while helping local kids in need, there's still time for you to sign up for the event. The entry fee is $600 for teams of four players.

Tee times for the tournament are at 8:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. at Willow Creek Golf Course. The address is 916 Abbotts Creek Church Rd. in High Point.
