State Farm Hosts Thanksgiving Dinner for Houston Families

HOUSTON -- Families displaced from their homes after Hurricane Harvey were treated to a big Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. 

The Chris Paul Family Foundation, along with State Farm and the Houston Rockets teamed up to host 500 families for a Thanksgiving feast. 

Thirty members of Chris Paul's family volunteered at the event. 

"This was an opportunity to truly celebrate Thanksgiving," stated Chris Paul. "This year has been challenging for the city of Houston.  My family and I were proud to join State Farm and the Rockets to share Thanksgiving with the community."

Houston Rockets player Chris Paul is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University.
