All Aboard The Santa Train With Stops In The Triad

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- All aboard! That’s right Santa is ditching the sleigh for a train ride with his helpers and it’s the perfect way for your family to get into the holiday spirit.

There are plenty of stops in the Triad with train rides going to and from Raleigh and Charlotte. 

The exciting train ride with Santa is on Saturday, December 3 and includes a visit with Mrs. Claus, carolers, refreshments, and Santa Claus himself!

Passengers can board the Santa Train at any of the stops listed below.

Departure Times for Raleigh to Greensboro (Train 75)
Santa Train Raleigh travels to Greensboro and back with a brief layover. To get on board, book a seat on the Piedmont#75 departing Raleigh at 11:45 a.m., with stops at Cary, Durham and Burlington. Passengers should book a return trip on the Piedmont #74 departing Greensboro at 1:42 p.m. and arriving back in Raleigh at 3:21 p.m.
• Raleigh – 11:45 a.m.
• Cary – 11:58 a.m.
• Durham – 12:19 p.m.
• Burlington – 12:55 p.m.

Departure Times for Greensboro to Raleigh (Train 74)
• Greensboro – 1:42 p.m.
• Burlington – 2:03 p.m.
• Durham – 2:42 p.m.
• Cary – 3:03 p.m.
• Raleigh – 3:21 p.m.

Departure Times from Charlotte to High Point (Train 74)
Santa Train Charlotte travels to High Point and back with a brief layover. To get on board, book a seat on the Piedmont#74 departing Charlotte at noon, with stops at Kannapolis and Salisbury. Passengers should book a return trip on thePiedmont #75 departing High Point at 1:38 p.m. and arriving back in Charlotte at 3:04 p.m.
