FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA. (WUSA9) - Firefighters jumped into action and jumped into the holiday spirit after a person was injured while putting up Christmas lights outside their Virginia home.
Over the weekend, fire crews responded to the home where the victim was injured. The person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After the person was taken to the hospital, officials said firefighters from Tower Ladder 440 decided to finish putting up the Christmas lights. Officials say they did not want the patient and family to worry about trying to finish getting their Christmas lights up.
