GREENSBORO, N.C. -- You can help out a local organization and find a last-minute gift for your mom this weekend.
The Guilford County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers are hosting the 12th annual Passalong Plant Sale Friday and Saturday.
The Master Gardeners will sell hundreds of plants and trees at a bargain. Organizers are selling most of the plants - that they've grown themselves - for $1-$8.
Friday's sale starts at 9 a.m. and runs through 3 p.m., and Saturday, the sale runs from 9 a.m. to noon. The sale is at the Guilford Agricultural Center located at 3309 Burlington Rd. in Greensboro.
The Guilford Extension Master Gardener Volunteers are part of a statewide program that offers educational programming and tips for gardeners of all ages.
