WINSTON-SALEM -- You love roller coasters and amusement park rides, but have you ever wondered how they work? A brand-new exhibit at SciWorks delves into the science behind the twists and turns in our favorite rides.
The exhibit, titled 'Motion Mania,' allows visitors to put their design skills to the test, as they create roller coasters, racetracks and superhighways.
Visitors will learn about friction, force and energy along the way. The exhibit opens to the public Saturday, January 16 and will be at SciWorks until May 15, 2016.
