Old Salem Heritage Festival Celebrates Black History

WINTSON-SALEM, N.C. -- A celebration of Black History Month is returning to Old Salem Museums and Gardens.

The museum is hosting its annual Heritage Festival Saturday. The festival will feature a day full of activities for the entire family. Visitors will get the chance to learn about the food, storytelling, crafts and other aspects important to African American culture.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $23 for adults and $11 for children ages 6-16.
