Charlie Is Up For Adoption At The SPCA

Charlie is up for adoption from the SPCA. He is only about 11 weeks old and was found dragging a useless back leg down the side of the road. A Good Samaritan brought him to the SPCA.

Charlie has a snapped femur but no abrasions or scratches. Since it is a clean break, it is probably the result of Charlie being kicked or dropped as opposed to hit by a car. Charlie is so sweet and strong even through all the pain. His surgery to fix his leg was very successful but the SPCA needs your help with the large vet bills.

Charlie is one of several injured and sick animals that the SPCA is doing the best to care for at their adoption center. If you would like to donate, please visit their website.

Charlie is ready to be fostered and soon adopted once his leg heals. To apply to foster Charlie, log on to the SPCA's website or give them a call at(336) 375-3222.

You can meet Charlie and other pets at the SPCA's adoption fairs this weekend:
