Black Beans and Rice

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp my essentials Vegetable Oil
1 med Onion
2 cp Water
1 cp my essentials Long Grain Rice
1 pkg McCormick® Sloppy Joe Seasoning Mix
1 can Food Lion Black Beans

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat oil in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add water and rice. Bring to boil.

2. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

3. Stir in Seasoning Mix and beans. Cook until heated through.

4. Variation: Stir in 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained, with beans.
