Bart the cat, who clawed his way back to life, has a new home.

The name of the cat's new owner, a Humane Society staffer, is being withheld out of "fear of retribution," The Times said.
Bart was hit by a car, and its previous owner thought he was dead, so he buried the cat. Days later, the cat showed up at his door, looking for food.
