ROCHESTER, Minn. - Two surgical residents at the Mayo Clinic have gone viral after posting a video showing their talents out of the operating room.

Elvis Francois and William Robinson, both orthopedic surgery residents, posted a video on Monday singing Mike Yung's song, "Alright," which quickly gained traction on social media.

More than 18,000 shares and a million views later, it seems the song not only resonated with people but gave a dose of inspiration and hope.

In his post, Francois writes, "As health care providers we often meet people at their greatest time of need....and sometimes the best gift you can give is a simple reminder that everything will be alright."

"Music is medicine," he adds.

Francois is known as the "singing surgeon," with several other videos of his scrub-wearing performances getting thousands of shares, leading to appearances on "Inside Edition," among other daytime talk shows.
