JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified the 10-year-old child who died in a "tragic accident" at a park in Northwest Jacksonville.
JSO said Nahshon Green died after he got entangled by a swing's chain at Charles Clark Park on Sibbald Road. JSO responded to the scene around 6:15 p.m.
10 year old child at the park was on a swing when he got entangled in the chains and they wrapped around his neck. Child died at the hospital. At this time, the death is being investigated as a tragic accident and foul play is not suspected. https://t.co/lCOrhRPBGd

JSO said a mother of four children went to the park. While the children were playing, Green was playing on the swing set. When the mom looked back at Green, she saw the chains of the swing wrapped around the his neck, JSO said. As she did that, she called 911.
Green was transported to UF Health where the child was pronounced deceased. According to the GoFundMe account, Nahshon was autistic.
