GREENSBORO, NC -- The snow kept falling, and falling, and falling. Many in the Piedmont saw 6 to 10 inches of snow on Wednesday, as a major winter storm slammed the Triad.
Snow totals were highest in the eastern half of the Triad. Randolph County, Alamance County, Guilford, Caswell, Rockingham and Chatham all saw the highest totals. Some areas picked up 8-10", with a few reports above that.
The National Weather Service in Raleigh tweeted out a summary map Wednesday night showing where the most snow fell. These reports are as of about 10pm.
