BURLINGTON, N.C. – More than 500 new jobs are coming to Burlington!
The PRA Group plans to operate a new call center within Holly Hill Mall. The firm will create the call center within the former Hamrick’s store at the mall. The company plans to hire 510 workers for the call center.
David Morton, the Mall’s owner, said the mall beat out five other states to land the call center.
A job fair will be held this weekend. The PRA Group is looking to hire Call Center Representatives, Operations Managers, Human Resources, and IT professionals. The company is also looking to hire at its center in Henderson, Nevada.
The Job Fair will be held on Saturday, November 4 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Ramada Burlington Hotel & Conference Center located at 2703 Ramada Road in Burlington.
According to PRA Group, many of the jobs do not require college degrees but experience in customer service is a plus.
The PRA Group is headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia and is a leader in acquiring and collecting nonperforming loans and returns capital to banks and other creditors to help expand financial services for consumers.
Representatives with Holly Hill Mall say the call center is scheduled to open near the end of January.
