A Year's Worth Of Batteries For Under $20

GREENSBORO -- In my continued search to save you time, money and flag down huge deals, it's all about battery bargains today. I've been waiting almost six months for another great battery deal and finally I got what I wanted.

It's a rather high number in my opinion: the average household in our region spends as much as $100 per year on batteries and with most of that on AA's, and at least 70 batteries used per year.

From TV remote controls to flashlights, smoke detectors and more, rechargeable batteries are not a great mix for many gadgets in our home, which is why today's deal drop on 80 regular alkaline batteries has me fired up. The batteries below which are made by Toshiba tested VERY well for us and held their ground with both Duracell and Energizer for the most part. Considering you're getting more than a year's worth of batteries for under $20, this is without a doubt the deal of the day.

While I have seen competing offers on other batteries from other brands, many of the batteries in these packages are nearly expired or not of great quality.

We do not receive any financial compensation from any deal or for mentioning any product/company. The only purpose of this series is to save you money!
