Greensboro, NC - From the name to the theme of beers, Guilford County is well represented and for good reason. Natty Greene's has been a brewing staple in Greensboro since 2004.
One year later in 2005, they began distributing beer to other venues outside the pub on South Elm. "Quickly we ran into a capacity issue cause the brewing pub was only set-up to brew beer to supply the patrons in house", says Director of Brewing Operations Sebastian Wolfrum.
So in 2007 the opened a second brewing-only location off of Lee street where they bottle on average 20,000 bottles of beer a week.
In 2010, the expanded even more opening a second pub house in Raleigh. With the addition Natty Greene's now employs almost 200 people.
As for future plans Wolfrum says they hope to get the product into stores across the state. "The current plan for the Natty Greene's Brewing Company is to go statewide, so some time in the next year we'll try to be with our bottles and our draft all the way from Asheville to Wilmington."
