Greensboro, NC -- Police said a man that was sought in connection for a murder Monday night has turned himself in.
Daniel Fred Larson II, 24, was wanted for first-degree murder. He turned himself in late Tuesday and is being held in the Guilford County Jail on First Degree Murder charges.
Greensboro police were called to the 5500-block of Hornaday Road around 10 p.m. Monday night when someone reported hearing gunshots.
Officer found William Levon Kennedy II, 24, dead behind the driver's seat of an SUV. His death is classified as a homicide.
Detectives believe the shooting was drug-related.
Greensboro's Special Response Team tried to arrest Larson at his work, but were unsuccessful.
