Raleigh, NC -- Davidson County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man Thursday they accuse of sexual assault on a child that allegedly occurred over a two-year period.
Police say they received information from the Department of Social Services that a juvenile had been sexually assaulted by an adult.
After an investigation, they say Henry Woodruff, of Raleigh, committed multiple sexual offenses against a child over a nearly two-year period between 2001 and 2003.
Woodruff is charged with one count of first degree offense with a child and three counts of indecent liberties with a child.
He is being held under a $500,000 bond.
