Eden, NC-- An Eden business owner told police he went to work on Monday and found the place broken into and items worth thousands of dollars were missing.
An officer was dispatched around 12:00pm to the Screaming Ink Tattoo on N. Bridge Street. The owner told investigators that, when he opened the store he noticed the business had been broken into and they person took about $4,700 worth of personal items, merchandise and equipment.
Back up officers were sent and during their investigation they identified a suspect in the case. A warrant was obtained by detectives for the arrest of Eric Lamont Waddell. Waddell was wanted on charges of Breaking and Entering and Larceny.
Eden officers with the Criminal Investigative Unit and Narcotic's Unit executed a search warrant at Waddell's recovered of the items stolen from Screaming Ink Tattoo.
Eric Lamont Waddell was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny and Possession of Stolen Property. Additionally, he was charged of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Waddell was taken to the Wentworth Magistrates Office and placed into the Rockingham County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
