TROY, NC - If you're a fan of "The Andy Griffith Show' then you're in for a real treat! Actress Maggie Peterson who played "Charlene Darling" stopped by and gave us a surprise performance of "Salty Dog!" Plus, Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Branch and tribute actor Phil Foxx stop by to talk about the tribute show this Saturday. They will perform skits, songs, and scenes from the show and answer questions from the audience. One of the best parts is that all the proceeds of the event go to the Montgomery County D.A.R.E - Drug Abuse Resistance Education - program.
The show is this Saturday, August 25th, at the First Bank James Garner Center located at 211 Burnett Street in Troy, off N.C. 109 and N.C. 24/27.
