Washington-- Police in Washington, DC said they arrested a 19-year-old in connection with two sexual assaults. Police said on victim was assaulted in her dorm room.
Officers said the attacked happened Friday, November 2 at about 1:15 p.m. when Myles entered a dorm room at Howard University. Myles showed a knife to the victim and sexually assaulted her, police said.
According to ABC News, Police said the victim reported that Myles told her "since you don't know me here's my number." He then scribbled his name and number, but when the victim said she didn't need it he scratched it out.
However, police said they were able to get enough information to track him down.
Officers said the first woman assaulted by Myles was on Friday, October 26. Police said he knocked on the door of an apartment and when the woman began opening the door, they said Myles forced himself into her apartment.
After he was inside the apartment, the victim said she was sexually assaulted and stabbed multiple times for resisting.
Investigators said the victim was left unconscious from the attack.
WUSA is reporting that Myles has been charged with Assault with the Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Assault While Armed and First Degree Sexual Assault.
Police released a picture of Myles that was captured by a surveillance camera as he got on the elevator in the building of his first victim.
Officers said the surveillance video and Myles leaving his name and number with the second victim, lead to his capture.
