Burlington, NC -- Police have made a second arrest in a shooting that sent one man to a hospital the afternoon of Nov. 15.
Stanley Curtis Gillom, 27 was arrested Greensboro Monday afternoon.
Officers arrested Vondrell Xavier Majette, 24, in Greensboro at 11 p.m. Friday.
Both men are charged with one each count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, along with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine.
According to a police report, officers responded to a house at 1434 Maple Ave., just after noon on the 15th, and found a victim with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Police were not able to get much information from the victim before an EMS crew airlifted him to UNC Hospitals for surgery.
The victim's name still has not been released.
Investigators are still questioning other people who were at the scene of the shooting.
Majette was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $300,000 bond, and Gillom is being held under a $500,000 secured bond.
Greensboro police assisted in both arrests.
