Greensboro, NC -- It's going to be one busy week for those of you preparing to host thanksgiving dinner. But that's seems like nothing compared to what the North Carolina A&T State University Marching Band has to do.
More than 280 students will head to New York Tuesday to appear in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They come back Sunday.
Junior's Shannon Stith, Khalyn Jones and Alex Revelle got to speak with WFMY News 2's Faith Abubey about the big trip this week. Click on the videos to watch their interviews.
The band is having a send off pep rally Sunday in Corbetts Sports Center on A&T's campus. It's free and open to everyone. It starts at 2 pm.
In the meantime, there's still time to help the band with money for the trip. Text "BGMM" to 50555.
CBS' coverage of the parade starts at 9 am on Thursday.
