Greensboro, NC-- A water main break has closed part of a Greensboro road and causing the dismissal of Kiser Middle School.
Guilford Co. Schools Officials said Kiser Middle School is dismissing early, buses will start running at 1:15 p.m.
Benjamin Parkway is closed, so parents of car riders, or those who wish to pick up their students, can access the school by taking Westover Terrace to Campus Drive.
Students will remain at school with proper supervision until a parent arrives. We are working with the city to restore water as soon as possible and will provide updates as soon as we have more information.
All athletic practices, as well as any other after-school activities, are also cancelled.

Kiser Middle's 20th-day enrollment was 886 students; the school usually dismisses at 3:05 p.m.
Police in Greensboro have closed the north and south bound lanes of Benjamin Parkway between N. Elam and Aycock St.
Greensboro road crews are on the scene working to repair the line.
No time has been set on when the road will reopen for drivers.
Police have detours in place and encourage drivers to use an alternate route.
