Composite Released On Possible Suspect In Fatal Stabbing

Asheboro, NC-- Investigators in Randolph Copunty have released a composite drawing of a suspect in a possible stabbing death from October.

A woman was found stabbed to death on October 13 on Thompson Road in Archdale, after deputies responded to a 911 call in reference to a white female who had been stabbed.

Detectives were able to identify the woman as 36 year-old Tina Mae Rook of High Point. Rook was taken to the hospital later died.

Witnesses told officers they say Rook getting into a white in color, full size single cab truck with an unknown white man in the area of Clinton Ave and Lincoln Dr in High Point shortly before the 911 call was made.

The only description provided to investigators was that the man they saw appeared to be 35-50 years old with brown shaggy hair.

The sheriff's department is offering a reward for information that could lead to an arrest and you can report it anonymously.
