Lexington, NC -- Zeek Rewards receiver, Kenneth Bell, may be getting closer to recovering receivership property.
According to The Lexington Dispatch, this week, Bell filed case documents in more than 60 federal court districts.
The Newspaper also said Bell was re-appointed to his position on Tuesday, he was originally appointed in August, which was a necessary step to give him jurisdiction in parts of the country where property tied up in the alleged Ponzi scheme may be located.
Bell told The Dispatch he's mailed out 1,200 subpoenas to the top profiteers, most who made more than $100,000, in late October. He also said about 79 subpoenas were sent to North Carolina residents, including 14 in the Triad.
Bell's team has found more than 2.2 million Zeek Rewards users, according to The Dispatch, and has recovered about $300 million in assets from foreign and domestic institutions.
