Greensboro, NC -- A Greensboro man is getting ready to stand trial in the killing of his wife, whose dismembered and burned body was found in some woods days after she disappeared.
The News and Record of Greensboro reports Winfred Simpson's first-degree murder trial is scheduled to start Monday.
Authorities say Simpson killed his wife, because he was angry at her for cheating on him. She also accused him of infidelity.
Court records show Simpson accused his wife of pressuring him into joining a club where husbands and wives would swap partners.
Both sides have asked a judge to limit testimony about the couple's sex lives so it won't sidetrack the murder trial.
