Greensboro, NC-- Tuesday morning a Greensboro high school became the first in the city to start program to stop crime on its campus.

It all stems from the school's resource officer, Officer AT Griffiths, at Page High School. Griffiths thought there were too many thefts occurring on his beat.

Griffiths made it his mission to publicize the Campus Crime Stoppers text-a-tip program throughout the school.

The program: Page Campus Watch will consist of 20 9th-12th graders.

For the roll out, club members will set up a booth outside the lunchroom between 11:50 am and 1:55 pm. In addition to displaying their Page Campus Watch promotional materials, the students will be distributing surveys to find out about their peers' perception of crime and willingness to report illegal behavior.
