Forsyth County, NC -- Part of Highway 158 in Forsyth County is back open, after an accident involving a tractor-trailer caused it to close.

NC Highway Patrol investigators tell News 2 the accident happened on Highway 158, which is also Reidsville Road, just south of Goodwill Church Rd.

Troopers believe the driver ran off the side of the road and was unable to stabilize the semi. The weight of the load caused the truck to flip on its side.

The semi was carrying more than 40,000 pounds of glass products, according to highway patrol.

A passenger in the semi was transported for minor injuries. The driver was not injured.

Highway Patrol said heavy equipment is being used to unload the glass from the semi and load it onto another truck.

They will then be able to get the the wrecked semi out of the roadway, he said.
