There are many reasons many of us haven't finished or started our Christmas shopping and as they say, don't sweat the small stuff.

No matter what your reason is, if you're looking for last-minute gifts, you will have plenty of company.

We can't help you with the traffic, but this list compiled by WFMY News 2 and CBS News may help ease the pain of last minute shopping.

-- If you have a bookworm on your list who's never without their Nook or Kindle, head to the Barnes & Noble website or the Kindle bookstore and navigate to the book of your choice and click on the "Give as a gift" button. Nothing says lovin' like the latest Jay Greene book!

-- And what could be better than giving other people the chance to make a difference? Buy a gift card at Justgive.com, an online charity aggregator. It has over 1,000 charities in its database, from education to disaster relief where your friend can direct the gifted money to the organization that resonates with them.

-- Consider getting the music-lover in your life a one-year subscription to Pandora One for $36 bucks a month for ad-free listening. For movie buffs, a one month subscription to Netflix starts at $7 bucks.

Stores are also getting in on the last minute marathon, here are there hours, now through Christmas Eve:

Starting Saturday, Macy's will be open for 48 straight hours.

Friendly Center in Greensboro will be open Friday and Saturday until 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 pm on Sunday.

Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem will be open until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Tanger Outlets in Mebane will be open until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Long story short, there's no excuse for an empty stocking this year!
