Greensboro--If you are dreaming of a white Christmas, keep dreaming. It looks like a wet Christmas Eve and dry Christmas Day for the Piedmont of North Carolina.
Our weekend will be dry, but clouds will increase late Sunday as a cold front approaches. The front will help channel moisture from the Gulf of Mexico into the Piedmont.
Our best chance of rain will be Monday afternoon and Monday night. There should be a break in the rain for Christmas Day, before low pressure tracks our way to bring rain for Tuesday night and Wednesday.
At least it will feel more like Christmas as temperatures will average near normal for this weekend and most of next week.
Our normal high temperature is 48 and our normal low is 31.
