Greensboro--No snow for the Piedmont this Christmas. Wet weather will be with us. this year.
A cold front will move into the region Monday afternoon and bring a 40% chance of light rain Monday afternoon and evening. Rainfall amounts will be light with only .10" to.20" expected.
As the cold front moves into Eastern North Carolina, the rain will end by late Monday night. Christmas Day looks to be mainly dry but there will be lots of clouds around.
By Tuesday night and Wednesday another surge of moisture along with an area of low pressure will track northeast out of the Gulf of Mexico and spread rain our way. This will produce soggy conditions for Tuesday night and Wednesday. This second system will likely be a greater rain producer for the Triad.
Temperatures today will be in the mid 50's. High temperatures Monday through Wednesday will be in the upper 40s' to lower 50's.
Our normal high temperatures is 49, and our normal low is 31.
