Suspects Wanted In 2 Danville Robberies Within Minutes Of Each Other

Danville, VA -- Police are looking for suspects in relation to a couple of robberies that happened within minutes of each other in Danville Friday.

In the first robbery, police say they were called to the Fas Mart on Piney Forest Road at 10:34 p.m. The store clerk said a man entered her store, pointed a gun at her and demanded money. The clerk gave the man money from the cash register, and the suspect ran from the store.

The woman said the suspect was wearing a brown hoodie, black leather jacket, gloves and a dark bandanna around his face.

While the robbery occured, a dark-skinned black male in a black hoodie, gloves and dark jeans held the store's door open and acted as a look-out, according to police.

In the second incident, a light-skinned black male, wearing a black hoodie and red bandana around his face, took money from the Wilco on S. Boston St. Police responded to this robbery at 11:10 p.m.

This suspect also threatened the clerk with a gun.

In this case, a dark-skinned black male also played look-out during the robbery.

Police say no shots were fired in either incident, but they are still looking for suspects.
