Stokesdale -- The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating the person they believe is responsible for setting two vehicle fires in the Stokesdale area.
Sheriff BJ Barnes says his office is conducting Arson investigations of two vehicle fires which occurred in the Stokesdale area between January 9th and January 11th, 2013.
On January 9 at 1:23 am, the front cabin of a 2007 Kenworth tractor-trailer was found burning at 8905 Ellisboro Road in Stokesdale. The truck was unoccupied and had been parked at this lot overnight.
On January 11 between 1:00am - 2:00am, a 1995 Ford Van was set on fire while in the parking lot of Countryside Village Retirement Community at 7700 US Highway 158 in Stokesdale.
The Sheriff's Office is currently attempting to locate a suspect in this case, who is a white female, 30's to mid 40's, with shoulder length, wavy brown hair (blond highlights), medium height & build, who was seen driving a dark colored four-door sedan.
