Greensboro--If you like milder weather you will like today's forecast with high temperatures reaching the mid and upper 50's.  If you are more of a cold weather fan, you will be happy to learn about an Arctic blast headed to the Piedmont by Tuesday.

This will be the coldest air so far this winter season. The cold front, which is the leading edge of the cold air mass will move through the area by Monday evening. With a dry atmosphere already in place over the Piedmont, no precipitation is expected with the front.

Cold air will will begin to filter into the area on the heels of a brisk northwesterly wind Monday night and Tuesday. Our coldest days this week will be Tuesday and Wednesday when high temperatures will only be a few degrees above freezing. Overnight lows will chill into the mid and upper teens.

With the expected brisk winds, wind chills will be in the 20's during the day on Tuesday and Wednesday. Wind chills Tuesday night may be as low as 10 above zero.

Our norma high temperature is 48 and our normal low is 29.
