Rowan County, NC - A GPS unit, stolen class ring and boat motor are among a list of items that sent two men in their early twenties to jail.
Detectives with Rowan County Sheriff's Office said they investigated several reports of robberies from cars parked on St. Peters Church Rd., Gin Rd. and Zion Church Rd. in Rockwell during the last few weeks. Investigators also mentioned that recreational campers were broken into near High Rock Lake earlier in January.
Keith Rattz, Jr. and Bryce Honeycutt, roommates and alleged partners in crime, were arrested by detectives Thursday. Detectives said they found items that were reported as stolen in their home.
Rattz and Honeycutt were both charged with 12 counts of Breaking and Entering and Larceny as well as Breaking and Entering and Larceny from a Motor Vehicle. Both men were placed in jail and issued a $10,000 secured bond.
