Salisbury, NC -- Officers arrested a marine recruiter charged with sexually assaulting two female recruits in Salisbury, according to Rowan County Sheriff's Office.
After complaints from recruits and an investigation by the sheriff's office and Salisbury Police Department, detectives identified the suspect as 24-year marine Sergeant Derek Craig Percival.
Percival allegedly sexually assaulted the female recruits at Salisbury Marine Recruiting Office.
Officers interviewed and arrested Percival at his apartment on Grandeur Dr. after an interview Saturday.
He's been charged with two counts of Misdemeanor Sexual Battery, one count of Sexual Servitude and one count of Attempted Second-Degree Rape.
Percival was place in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
The USMC has been notified of the arrest and has notified its own investigators.
