Three Arrested In Yadkin County For Illegal Drugs Violations

Yadkin County, NC -- Detectives with the Yadkin County Sheriff's Office arrested three people for illegal drug violations Monday.

The undercover operation was a part of the agency's "Community Impact" investigation. The ongoing operation was first made public January 17. Detectives started the investigation after receiving information that a drug transaction was taking place on Wyo Road at the intersection of Davie Road, in the Courtney Community Monday night.

A 'sting' operation was set up in order to catch the suspects involved.

When officers tried to stop the car, the suspects lead them on a brief chase. After wrecking the car, the suspects jumped out and ran. Officers caught them a short time later and took them into custody.

The three arrested were identified as: Reginald W. Lyons, 55-years-old from Mocksville, Booker T. Cody Jr., 27-years-old from Yadkinville and Shanna Rose Caudle, 29-years-old from Yadkinville.

According to the sheriff's department, Lyons was the driver of the vehicle. He is charged with Felony possession of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, Conspire to sell and deliver Cocaine, Felony Flee to Elude, and Injury to Personal Property. Lyons is being held in the Yadkin County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.

Cody Jr. who was a passenger is charged with Felony possession of Cocaine, Four counts of Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver, a Schedule II controlled substance, three counts of Sell and Deliver Crack Cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance, Two counts of Conspire to sell and deliver Cocaine, and Felony Flee to Elude. Cody is being held in the Yadkin County Jail under a $150,000 secured bond.

Caudle is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, four counts of Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver, Crack Cocaine a schedule II controlled substance, four counts of Sell and Deliver a schedule II controlled substance, Conspire to Sell and Deliver, a schedule II controlled substance. Caudle is being held in the Yadkin County Jail under a $75,000 secured bond.

Detectives seized more than seven grams of crack cocaine, an undisclosed amount of cash and the vehicle.
