Raleigh, NC-- People who need to use services of the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles may find themselves waiting or told to come back.
That's because a power outage in its headquarters building shortly after 11 a.m. this morning has affected services statewide.
Computer systems used to conduct DMV business statewide have been affected. Customers are urged to call any DMV office before they visit until further notice.
Repair work is expected to last through tonight.
