Greensboro, NC-- Renovations are underway to transform the former Bin 33 to Ham's Restaurant in downtown Greensboro.
Company President, Rocky Scarfone told News 2 that Ham's will be on the first floor at 324 South Elm St. The location used to Bin 33, a restaurant and bar.
Scarfone believes it's the perfect location and an opportunity to enhance and contribute downtown revitalization.
However, this Ham's location will be different than the others. Scarfone believes this location has to be the right mix of the Ham's brand while also adhering to the downtown vibe.
This Ham's will have live bands, karaoke, and trivia nights. There will be 24 beers on tap, more than other locations including some microbrews.
Scarfone said he'll add some additions to their traditional menu like seafood and hand-cut fries.
News 2's Liz Crawford found out that Scarfone is considering a lounge for the second floor, which has a balcony. He wants it to jive well with the Ham's downstairs.
"When you don't want to hear the band and you want to be able to go upstairs, be away from the loudness of the band but still be in a cool area," said Scarfone.
