Greensboro--While New England is digging out of a blizzard, the Triad is enjoying sunshine. The rest of our weekend will be dry, but rain is headed out way.
High pressure is building over the Carolinas and will provide us with sunshine today. High temperatures will be near 50. Tonight will be clear with a low of 29.
A cold front will approach from the west on Sunday. This will cause clouds to increase by Sunday afternoon. Rain will hold off until later Sunday night and Monday. Rainfall amounts of .25" to .50" are possible by Monday afternoon.
We will likely see a break in the rain Tuesday, but another system will bring more rain Tuesday night and Wednesday.
High temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will be in the upper 50's.
Our normal high temperature is 51, and our normal low is 31.
