Greensboro--Clouds are wasting not time building over the Piedmont. Although the clouds will continue to thicken through the afternoon, no rain is expected until this evening and overnight.
A cold front that is moving into the Ohio Valley today will move into the Piedmont overnight. Rain is expected to develop this evening and continue through Monday around noon. Rain fall amounts of around .50" are expected.
The rain will taper off by Monday afternoon but the clouds will hang in through the day. Tuesday sunday be partly sunny and mild.
Another system will move out of the Gulf of Mexico and spread clouds and rain back over the Piedmont Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Temperatures will be quite mild for the first half of the new week. The high on Monday will be 58, with a high around 60 on Tuesday. It will cool into the mid 40's with the rain expected on Wednesday.
Our normal high temperature is 51, and our normal low 31.
