Santa Fe, NM-- A teen survives a fall off of a ski lift in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The 17 year-old slipped after attempting to throw a snow ball at his friend who was in a lift in front of him.
The teenager dropped 45 feet to the ground.
Cody Sheppard, Ski Patrol Director told the Sante Fe New Mexican that the kid is home and he is fine. After the accident, Sheppard said the teen was taken off the mountain via helicopter, as a precaution, because it was hard to tell what internal injuries he might have sustained.
But, Sheppard said, none of the injuries required surgery.
