Pfafftown, NC-- Investigators with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Offfice said a body found last week during a welfare check has lead to a homicide investigation.
Thursday, February 21 officers went to a home in the 6000 block of Fairfield Oaks Lane in Pfafftown to check on someone. When deputies arrived the dead body of an adult was found inside.
The body was sent to Chapel Hill for autopsy and identification.
During their investigation, Detectives developed Steven Byron Tisdale as a possible suspect. Tisdale was due in court on embezzlement charges, but did not show up for his court appearance. Warrants were then issued by the court for his arrest.

Friday, Officers in Las Vegas, NV arrested Tisdale for an unrelated manner.
Monday, Sheriff Bill Schatzman identified the body as 52-year-old Robert Bowie Tisdale. He said the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
Steven Tisdale is being served warrants by Officers in Las Vegas for the Murder of Robert Tisdale.
