Greensboro, NC -- Police have identified the two victims found dead in a home on Cornwallis Drive Saturday afternoon.
Police identified them as 60-year-old Michael Franklin Stutts and 40-year-old Corry Matthew Munson.
Stutts lived in the home on 105 Cornwallis Drive. Munson is from Stoneville, NC.
Officers responded to 105 W. Cornwallis Drive just before 11:30 a.m. and found two people lying on the floor after police forced their way into the home.
Police were called to the house by concerned friends who said they hadn't seen or heard from the person living in the home.
"When we responded to this residence, our officers saw a body inside the house and went into the house. At that time we discovered that two people were deceased inside the residence," explained Captain Mike Richey, Greensboro Police Department.
Police are classifying this as a suspicious death. That means they do not believe it is a suicide. They believe it is a homicide but will not make that call. That determination will be made by the medical examiner.
